The Pawleys Island Concert Band is an all volunteer adult community band serving the communities of Georgetown and Horry counties; commonly known as the South Strand. 

We perform several free concerts each year and provide an array of traditional concert band music from big band, marches, jazz and show tunes to light classical selections. 

Members are area residents of all ages who desire to contribute their skills and dedication to our community to promote musicianship, present high quality enjoyable music and to encourage young people to enjoy lifelong excitement of the musical arts.

We practice on Tuesday nights at Murrells Inlet Presbyterian Church located at:

4499 US Highway 17 Bypass South, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

Jazz Band rehearses at 5:45 pm

Concert Band rehearses from 7:00 pm to 8:30pm

PATRIOTIC CEREMONIAL EVENTS

We perform at several community events throughout the year:  Atalaya, Lakes at Litchfield, Socastee Library, Waccamaw Neck Library, Winyah Auditorium, Kaminski House, Toys for Tots, The Hammock Shops, Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church, Trinity Presbyterian of Surfside, and Socastee United Methodist Church. 

Our Annual Spring, Summer, Fall  and Winter Concerts are filled with exciting and joyous music. Our trip to Disney World was an event where traveled down to Florida to play before a wonderful audience.

We perform our patriotic events at the American Legion Post 114  American Legion Post 178,  VFW Post 6444 and VFW Post 10420  in Georgetown and Horry counties which include Memorial Day, Flag Day, Indepedence Day, 9/11 Rememberance and Andrew's Veterans Day Celebration.
